Prompt from NaPoWriMo, write in a specific form the nonet. A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second has eight, and so on until you get to the last line, which has just one syllable. My poem today is about a train ride. I do love a train!
The Train: a Nonet
What is more sensual than a train?
Its rhythmical clackety-clack,
sways side to side, mile on mile,
color from window blurs
until we slow down
through every town.
Whistle blows,
screech to
stop.
